You should dress for the occasion and check your physical surroundings to avoid interruptions or distractions. Follow these tips: 1. Test your camera and sound, using a headset to avoid outside noises. 2. Face a window if possible. This will allow natural light on your face and will make the ima ge quality better. 3. Adjust the camera height so it is close to your eyeline. You don’t want people looking at your forehead or up your nostrils. 4. Ensure the camera is stable with a cradle or use a laptop. Don’t hold your phone or tablet. 5. Make sure the employer can see your head and shoulders and remove any distractions behind you or add an image filter to the screen.
