Life at Somerhill Magazine

Somerhill enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the National Prep Schools’ Cross Country Championships, with our pupils showing incredible courage, resilience and true Somerhill spirit across all races. U11 girls – National Champions! A stunning team performance secured 1st place out of 52 schools, with brilliantly consistent finishing throughout the squad. U11 boys – Outstanding determination After a dramatic start and a couple of painful setbacks, our boys battled on with real grit to finish strong. U13 boys – Top‑half finish A competitive run saw the team place 14th out of 32, including a superb top‑20 individual finish. A huge thank you to our supportive families and to Mrs Bowers for the early‑morning XC Club training that kept spirits high through mud, rain and darkness!
