Life at Somerhill Magazine

They have used palm drills, hammers and conkers to build fine motor skills, experimented with floating acorns, made wax-dipped leaf bunting, and foraged treasures from across the Somerhill grounds. To celebrate the end of term, our Saplings gathered for a campfire, learning how to build and light it safely before roasting the sweet chestnuts they had foraged; a delicious and memorable finale to an adventure-filled half term! We are so proud of our curious, confident and creative Saplings, and cannot wait to see what discoveries next term will bring.
