Lyla takes the crown!

Our Year 6 girls have had some fantastic maths lessons this half-term, including using Cuisenaire Rods to explore algebra in a hands‑on way.

With no instructions given, the challenge was to 'break into' the problem using their own strategies and reasoning. A special well done to Lyla, who was crowned 'Maths Queen' for her brilliant pictorial methods and impressive mathematical understanding.
