Yearly Life at Somerhill

Year 2 are sent to the Tower! On Wednesday 7th May, Year 2 children enjoyed an exciting trip to the Tower of London. They participated in an engaging workshop with Samuel Pepys’s maid, Jane, who shared a detailed recount of events from the Great Fire of London. The children were delighted to talk to some Yeoman Warders, see the impressive collection of Crown Jewels, and visit the stunning display of poppies for VE Day. A marvellous time was had by all!
