Yearly Life at Somerhill

Reception pupils tend to our new rasied beds Pupils in Reception have been visiting our newly planted raised beds to keep an eye on what has been growing. They found some beetroot, radishes, beans, and sweet peas. Having spotted a patch in the beds that was free for planting, our young green-fingered pupils got busy digging and planting more seeds. Mrs Herbert also brought in a couple of tins to grow alpine strawberries and sweet peas. The children were especially excited to see that the seeds they had planted in little pots had already germinated!
