Reception study lovely London This term, Reception have been exploring the exciting topic of London! As part of their learning, the children worked together – just like our Pre-Prep Pal, Ree the Bee – to build their own version of Tower Bridge using a variety of materials. They demonstrated fantastic teamwork and problem-solving skills, carefully measuring the towers and deciding which pieces to use to recreate this iconic structure. They were especially fascinated by the fact that Tower Bridge is no ordinary bridge – it lifts to let tall boats pass underneath! Did you know it only takes around 10 minutes for the bridge to go up and down?
