Yearly Life at Somerhill

Making new friends and settling into Nursery

Nursery has been a hive of activity as new faces have joined our existing Somerhill family. Everyone arrived with photos of their own families, keen to add them to our ‘chatter-bags’ and share them at circle times and whenever they were missing home. This did not last for long as everyone was busy exploring the new toys and activities on offer; Saplings, welly walks to the paddock, rhododendrons and paddock, sensory play, art and craft as well as PE time with Mr Carter and ‘music and movement’ with Mrs Dawes. The children have settled in wonderfully, enjoying lots of child-initiated play and learning our new friends names- a super start to life at Somerhill!
