Please visit our website regularly for information updates: www.chathamgrammar.org.uk Work Experience: All students in Year 10 and the UKAT Sixth Form complete work experience placements in local and national organisations/firms/offices etc, to help them gain an insight into the world of work. Work Permit: Students under 16 who wish to work part time should obtain a work permit from Medway Education Department. World of Work (WOW): The WOW programme offers UKAT Sixth Form students the opportunity to be employed at the academy as staff in various paid roles, for a few hours each week. This supports their development in work-based skills.

University of Kent Ambassadors: The University of Kent deploy some of their undergraduate and postgraduate students to support our academy students. These people are called University Ambassadors. V Valuables: Students are encouraged not to bring any valuable or sentimental items to the academy as we cannot be responsible if these are damaged or lost. Please also refrain from bringing cash onto the academy site as we are a cashless organisation and students do not need to bring money for breaktimes, lunch times and printing or library loans.
