Fulston Manor Sixth Form Prospectus

Careers at Fulston Manor

A young persons career incorporates the progress they make both at school and in the world of work. Here at Fulston Manor Sixth Form we have an outstanding careers education programme and activities to help students choose pathways that are right for them, and to be able to manage their careers and employment sustainability throughout their lives. We provide a planned programme of careers education and information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) for all students in Years 12 and 13. We work in partnership with CxK Ltd, the University of Kent, KAMCOP, East Kent Business Partnership and many other outside providers. At Fulston we use Unifrog, an amazing online careers platform that students can use to complete a range of personality and skills surveys, find out about a huge range of career pathways in every job sector, and record their career journey. Over time the activities and interactions they record will build a career profile that can be used to create CVs and applications. We recognise the importance of careers guidance being impartial and independent to ensure that young people make well-informed decisions about their future careers. As such, we have a dedicated team of careers professionals who work with all of our students throughout their time with us to ensure the best possible careers education and opportunities when they leave us at the end of Year 13.
