Life at Somerhill Magazine

Our marquee was beautifully decorated with French flags, bunting, and gingham tablecloths, as our Year 6 pupils took on a variety of roles, from waiting staff to food preparation, practising their French language skills as they served croissants, pains au chocolat, baguettes, brioches, and more, all generously donated by our wonderful Year 6 parents. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to showcase their learning in a fun, real-world setting, and the staff thoroughly enjoyed the warm and welcoming service they received. As ever, this was a charity event, raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières. Very well done, Year 6! French cafés back by popular demand!
