Engineering in Year 3 ⚖

This year, our Year 3 pupils at Somerhill have taken their first steps into the world of engineering through a series of hands on, creative STEM projects. They began by designing and building box canvas frames, learning key structural engineering concepts such as measurement, cutting, stability, and artistic design. They then moved into the digital realm with scratch programming, creating interactive games that combined music, movement, and logic, all while honing their coding, debugging, and user experience skills.
