Life at Somerhill Magazine

Our Somerhill prep library club celebrated World Ocean Day this half term, by creating a display of relevant books and resources. The display featured sculptures of marine life created in art lessons and was designed to draw attention to the wonder of our oceans and the current threats facing this environment, including rising sea temperatures and plastic pollution. This year, World Ocean Day (Sunday 8th June) coincided with celebrations for broadcaster and conservationist Sir David Attenborough's 99th birthday! Somerhill librarians mark World Ocean Day!
