Storytelling through design in Year 1

Pupils in Year 1 have been exploring the work of William Morris, a master of pattern, nature, and storytelling through design. Using string to create their own stamps, the children experimented with pressing, rolling, and printing to bring their unique designs to life, creating a collection of beautiful, intricate patterns inspired by Morris himself.
