At the end of the summer holidays, 34 Somerhill children and a team of six Somerhill staff ventured to the Isle of Wight for an action-packed four days on the water.

UKSA Although we were initially presented with wet and wild weather, this soon cleared up, and we were greeted with beautiful blue skies and calm seas. Over the four days, the children learnt how to sail a dinghy and a windsurfer and experienced sailing on a 26ft keelboat. Closer to the centre, they worked together to build a raft and explore the marina on a SUP. In the evenings, team games were followed by a long walk along the Esplanade and a disco on the final night.
