Art at Somerhill

Year 6 pupils have been exploring animals through the lens of different artists such as Albrecht Durer and David Hockney. They also had an excellent visit to the Horniman Museum where they were able to draw many of the taxidermy animals on display. Herbie the tortoise also came to visit for a drawing lesson!

Year 3 pupils have been exploring colour theory, mixing secondary and tertiary colours and learning about minimalism through Mondrian.
