THE SOMERHILL REVIEW 2023/24

Year 6 French Café

The Year 6 children continued the tradition of putting on a café for the staff at Somerhill in aid of raising money for the charity ‘Médecins sans Frontières’ .

With generous food and drink donations from our lovely

parents, the children worked together to prepare some delicious French treats for the staff, who also rose to

the challenge of speaking in French, providing a ‘real-life experience’ for our pupils. The children researched some information about our chosen charity as well as some fun facts about France for the staff to enjoy and learn about whilst consuming their chosen snacks.
