Art at Somerhill

Year 3 have been exploring space through colour and pattern this term. They have marbled paper and created space collages, building on their cutting and image composition skills.

Year 8 have been creating their own natural dyes and making cyanotypes in response to an exhibition called 'Almost Nothing But Blue Ground' that they visited at Tonbridge OBS Gallery. This is just the start of a group research project investigating the many art and literature connections with Somerhill.
